Classic Fluffy Pancakes

Ingredients(scaled)

  • ½ 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • ½ 1/4 cups milk
  • ½ egg egg
  • 1 ½ tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter. Stir until just combined.
  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat (~350°F).
  4. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. When bubbles appear and the edges look set (~2 min), flip and cook until golden (~2 min).
  5. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve hot with syrup or toppings.
