- ChatGPT API: your recipe prompts and generated content flow through OpenAI’s service.

- Encryption in Transit: HTTPS/TLS for all data exchanged with CookBookGPT.
- Encryption at Rest: Data in Firebase (and through the ChatGPT API) is encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Access Controls: Only authenticated users can access their own data, enforced via Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication.
7. Children’s Privacy & Policy Changes

CookBookGPT is available to all ages, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect more information from children than is necessary to provide the service.

We’ll post any revised Privacy Policy here and email all registered users at least 30 days before changes take effect.
