- ½ lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- ½ 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tbsp rice vinegar
- ½ 1/2 tsp black pepper
- ½ 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
- ½ 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 small flour or corn tortillas
- ½ cup shredded lettuce
- ½ 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- ½ 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ Sour cream and sliced jalapeños for topping
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, black pepper, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Add sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring it's well coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Assemble tacos by placing beef on each tortilla, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and jalapeños.
- Serve hot and enjoy the Korean-Mexican fusion flavors!
