- ½ tbsp lemon juice

- ½ cup old-fashioned oats
- ½ 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ 1/2 cup brown sugar
- ½ 1/4 cup chopped pecans

- ½ 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well to coat the apples.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix together oats, flour, brown sugar, pecans, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crisp topping over the apples in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
