Ingredients(scaled)

  • 1 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • ½ cup warm water
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, olive oil, salt, basil, garlic, and the yeast mixture.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky.

  6. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  7. Roll out each dough ball into a circle or desired shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  8. Top with homemade pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Slice and serve hot.
