- ½ can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried basil
- ½ 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- ½ 1/2 tsp onion powder
- ½ 1/2 tsp sugar
- ½ Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir well.
- Add oregano, basil, thyme, onion powder, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Simmer the sauce on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Once the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before using on your pizza.
