- ½ can (6 oz) tomato paste
- ½ cup water
- 1 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried basil
- ½ 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- ½ 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- ½ 1/2 tsp onion powder
- ½ 1/2 tsp sugar
- ½ Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add tomato paste, water, oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary, onion powder, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more water.
- Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency and flavor, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before using it on your pizza.
- Spread the herb-infused tomato paste sauce on your pizza dough, add your favorite toppings, and bake according to your pizza recipe instructions.
