Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Toss sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and salt. Spread evenly in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and chopped nuts. Add diced cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden and apples are bubbly.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
