Instructions

  1. 1) Sear chicken in 1 tbsp oil over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, 6–8 min; transfer to plate.
  2. 2) In same skillet, add remaining oil, sauté onion 3–4 min until soft, add garlic 30 sec until fragrant.
  3. 3) Stir in gochujang and tomato paste; cook 1 min for bloom, then whisk in broth and milk.
  4. 4) Return chicken, simmer 5–7 min; add soy sauce, sugar, pepper; adjust salt.
  5. 5) Add Pastina; cook 4–6 min, stirring often until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
  6. 6) Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan if using; garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  7. Preheat the oven and bake until golden and set; a toothpick should come out clean.
