- 1 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tablespoon baking powder
- ½ 1/2 teaspoon salt
- ½ 1/4 cup honey
- ½ 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- ½ 2/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold butter cubes to the flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, work the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, mix the honey and milk until well combined.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the honey-milk mixture. Stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently pat it into a 1-inch thick rectangle.
- Use a biscuit cutter to cut out 8 biscuits. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
