- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- ½ 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tbsp grated ginger
- ½ Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ Sesame seeds for garnish
- ½ lb asparagus, trimmed
- ½ tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tbsp sesame seeds
- ½ Cooked white or brown rice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the teriyaki mixture over the salmon.
- Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and flaky.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the asparagus. In a bowl, toss asparagus with sesame oil and soy sauce.
- Spread asparagus on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until tender but still crisp.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the asparagus before serving.
- Serve the teriyaki glazed salmon with sesame asparagus and cooked rice.
- Garnish the salmon with sesame seeds before serving.
