  • 400 g firm tofu, pressed and cubed

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package directions until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Pat tofu dry and fry in oil until crispy, 3–4 minutes per side; remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté garlic and chili in the same pan until fragrant, 30 seconds; add onion and vegetables, cook 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in tamari, rice vinegar, and brown sugar; simmer 1 minute until glossy.
  5. Fold in crispy tofu and Thai basil until just wilted; finish with lime zest.
