Ingredients(scaled)

  • 1 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • ½ 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cups buttermilk
  • 1 large eggs
  • ½ 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined; do not overmix.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake; cook until bubbles form and edges look set (~2-3 min).
  6. Flip and cook another 2-3 min until golden brown. Serve warm with toppings.
