Honey Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry

Ingredients(scaled)

  • ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ red bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ cup snap peas
  • ½ cup broccoli florets
  • 1 ½ cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry the garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Add the bell peppers, snap peas, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the pan.
  7. Pour in the honey garlic sauce and stir well to coat everything. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
  9. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
