Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the parsley, garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to create the chimichurri marinade.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the chimichurri marinade over it. Ensure the steak is coated evenly. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard excess marinade.
- Grill the flank steak for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
