- 4 chicken drumsticks
- ½ 1/2 cup soy sauce
- ½ 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoons honey
- 1 ½ cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoons sesame oil
- ½ tablespoon rice vinegar
- ½ tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- ½ Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and gochujang to make the marinade.
- Place chicken drumsticks in a resealable bag or container, pour the marinade over them, seal, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marinated chicken drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with foil, reserving the marinade.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, turning once and basting with the reserved marinade halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is caramelized.
