Ingredients
- 1.5 cups rolled oats
- 3 cups water or milk
- 2 banana
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- In a pot, combine oats, water (or milk), and salt; bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until oats are creamy and tender.
- Mash one banana and stir into the oats; add cinnamon and vanilla, stirring to combine.
- Slice the remaining banana and fold half into the porridge; cook for another minute.
- Serve warm, topped with the sliced banana and an optional drizzle of extra milk or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
