Buffalo Chicken Sub

A delicious and spicy buffalo chicken sub sandwich, perfect for a satisfying lunch for four people.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onion
  • 4 slices provolone or blue cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken slices with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, toss the chicken slices with buffalo sauce until well coated.
  4. Spread the chicken slices on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Split the sub rolls in half lengthwise and lightly toast them.
  6. Spread ranch or blue cheese dressing on the inside of each roll.
  7. Layer the bottom half of each roll with shredded lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, and a slice of cheese.
  8. Place the cooked buffalo chicken slices on top of the cheese.
  9. Cover with the top half of the sub roll.
  10. Serve the buffalo chicken subs hot with extra buffalo sauce on the side for dipping.
